He was born in South Holland, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Tom relocated to Valparaiso, Indiana seven years ago where he currently resides. Standing 6 foot 7 inches tall, he enjoys and has played a lot of basketball, both in high school and in college. His “claim to fame” is while playing high school basketball during a tournament game he blocked a shot attempted by Isiah Thomas.
